The Flat
succeeds in providing great insight on Germany during World War II and the complicated interpersonal relationships during wartime. This is an outstanding documentary.

Storyline

Grandson, Arnon Goldfinger, tries to piece together his 98-year-old deceased grandmother’s life while cleaning her Tel Aviv flat, researching old correspondence, and meeting people who had known her and her husband before, during, and after World War II.
