FLIPPER (Theatrical Release USA 1996)

Ben Meyers’ rating: 3.8|5.0 Stars ììì

Flipper—
remake of the 1963 Flipper film starring Chuck Connors—retains heart, commonsense, and realism as it explores the interaction between a young boy named Sandy (Elijah Wood), his Uncle Porter Ricks (Paul Hogan), and a dolphin named Flipper. With a little ‘who-dun-it’ thrown in along with filming in Florida’s Gold Coast, the movie deserves its place as a no-stress, hot summer day flick served with Iced Tea or Cola.

Yes. The storyline is novel and nicely presents a view into life lived along salt water.
