CINDERELLA MAN (2005 USA)

Ben Meyers’ rating: 4.6|5.0 Starsìììì

Cinderella Man—a tribute to the talents of Director Ron Howard—becomes one of the Best Films of 2005. This director repeatedly brings us widely diverse, good entertainment that has ranged from A Beautiful Mind to How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Ron Howard builds a great story with this film.

Storyline

James Braddock (Russell Crowe) breaks his hand in a boxing match and is unable to professionally box again. He goes to work during the Great Depression in the ship yards until his hand heals. He works his way back into professional boxing and eventually beats the legendary Max Baer (Craig Bierko) in a 15-round fight.
