LETHAL WEAPON 3 (Theatrical Release USA 1992)

Ben Meyers’ rating: 4.3|5.0 Starsìììì

Lethal Weapon 3—great sequel to Lethal Weapon 2—fills itself with top action and a good storyline. One of the best police movies of 1992 with a great casting team of Mel Gibson and Danny Glover. One unnecessary sex scene and a scene where an armored truck driver thinks she is attracted to Murtaugh detract from the story, but other than that the movie propels itself forward into a worth watching film.

Storyline

Roger Murtaugh (Danny Glover) and Martin Riggs (Mel Gibson) clip the wrong wire on a car bomb, destroy an office building, and are given street patrol. They are soon involved in an armored truck robbery, weapons deals, and internal department corruption.

Additional Thanks

Great Work for Director and Producer Richard Donner. Thank you to Producer Joel Silver for making the film possible. Additional characters/cast include: Leo Getz (Joe Pesci), Lorna Cole (Rene Russo), Jack Travis (Stuart Wilson), Captain Murphy (Steve Kahan), Trish Murtaugh (Darlene Love), Rianne Murtaugh (Traci Wolfe), Nick Murtaugh (Damon Hines), and Carrie Murtaugh (Ebonie Smith).
