DESPICABLE ME (2010 USA)

Ben Meyers’ rating: 4.4|5.0 Starsìììì

Despicable Me—creatively fresh, witty—becomes an ‘absolute watch’ film from its beginning to its end. Adults will appreciate the comedic element as much as the child. Kudos to Directors Pierre Coffin and Chris Ranaud. Terrific production by Illumination Studios.

Storyline

Gru (voice of Steve Carrell), an evil genius, finds that someone has stolen the Great Pyramid of Giza. In order to top that magnificent stunt, he designs a plan to steal the moon and begins executing that plan by stealing a shrink ray from an eastern Asian military base.

Buy a ticket? Yes? No? Maybe?

Yes. It’s one of the best animated films out there; it performed very well at the box office.
