OKJA (2017 Cannes Film Festival Cannes France)

Ben Meyers’ rating: 4.3|5.0 Starsìììì

Okja—innovative with very good, realistic animation—strives to present itself as a heart-tugging action flick and accomplishes that well. The script is great; the storyline is fantastic. This is a terrific family share movie for the teen and adult audience.

Storyline

Lucy Mirando, a third descendant of the two generation Mirando Corporation, starts breeding a new breed of superpig. The new pigs are distributed across the world for families to raise. Okja is received by South Korean teenager Mija and her grandfather to raise.
