KNUCKLEHEAD (2010 USA)

Ben Meyers’ rating: 4.2|5.0 Starsìììì

Knucklehead—one of those ‘this is why we go to the movies’ films—sensationally wins its accolades at the emotional level. The Big Show, WWE Wrestling’s Paul Wight, portrays his character with believability as he captures the nuances of a gentle soul who is forced to do something quite different than his natural state of being. Dennis Farina, Will Patton, Saul Rubinik, Lester Speight, Melora Hardin, and Mark Feuerstein support Wight’s interpretation of his role well.

Storyline

Walter Krunk (Paul Wight) accidentally burns down an orphanage’s kitchen and needs to earn serious money to replace it. He becomes a professional fighter for Eddie Sullivan (Mark Feuerstein).
