RESURFACE (Tribeca Film Festival Manhattan Borough New York City New York USA 2017)

Resurface—
26-minute short film documentary—presents surfing as a healing for mental stress disorders arising from exposure to traumatic life events such as veterans experience when returning from war. This short documentary seems to be presented more as an advertisement/infomercial rather than an educational/informative piece. There is not a great deal of information presentation and the viewer is left with the question of how this particular therapy works over other therapies available.
