THE WOMAN IN BLACK (Theatrical Release USA 2012)

Ben Meyers’ rating: 3.8|5.0 Starsììì

The Woman in Black—
wannabe thriller/horror—pulls some suspense into the scenes, but doesn’t pull a single real ‘scary’ out of the entertainment hat. Daniel Radcliffe’s lighter voice seems to detract from the stronger character needed for his part. The movie lacks ‘punch’ after the initial opening scene to its ending scenes.

Buy a ticket? Yes? No? Maybe?

Yes. But, the film is not a best effort within the ghost and goblin genre of storytelling.
