The Descent Part 2, although intending to deliver horror, lacks the quality to generate that emotion as effectively as Saw (2004), Saw II (2005), or The Forgotten (2014). The film asks for its sequel, but fails in its delivery to the point where a sequel seems unnecessary.

Storyline

A rescue party makes a descent into the cave to attempt rescue of Sarah Carter’s (Shauna Macdonald) original spelunking team.
