THE FIFTH ESTATE (Chicago International Film Festival, Chicago, Illinois USA 2013)

The Fifth Estate—
Benedict Cumberbatch and Daniel Brühl tell the story of WikiLeaks. Read a plotline before you go and perhaps a good encyclopedic article on WikiLeaks to fully appreciate the story. The film provides good family discussion on topics that interplay: ethics, morality, security, openness, secrecy, traitorous acts, loyalty to country and cause, side effects of releasing information without proper approval.
