THE RIVER WILD (Theatrical Release USA 1994)

Ben Meyers’ rating: 3.5|5.0 Starsììì

The River Wild
relies on terrific actors—Meryl Streep, David Straitharn, and John C. Reilly to tell its story. But, it fails to hold attention and ends as an average movie with a few good river rafting scenes. It seems like a long 108 minutes to the film’s conclusion.

Buy a ticket? Yes? No? Maybe?

Maybe. Instead of this film, choose the thriller movie, No Escape, for better value of dollar and time expenditure.
