Yentl—classic Bravo! entertainment from its beginning to its end—works for its dollar. The storyline supports itself with Barbra Streisand as the lead actress and Mandy Patinkin lead actor. Barbra Streisand directs against outstanding scenery and stage setting. It’s a story of courage, hope, and striving to realize one’s dream despite terrific obstacles that oppose that dream.

Storyline

A young girl, forbidden entrance into religious studies, determines a plan to bypass the rules and finds herself embroiled in challenges she had not anticipated.
