Godzilla, with a few small tweaks on the script, could have been a great movie. Despite that, the special effects make this a good action thriller. Kudos to Director Roland Emmerich for a very good try.

Yes. While the storyline has not been fully developed, the special effects and animation make the movie work for the ‘monster goes on a rampage’ fan.
