THE ADVENTURES OF TOM SAWYER (Theatrical Release USA 1938)

Ben Meyers’ rating: 4.1|5.0 Starsìììì

The Adventures of Tom Sawyer—classic story—has terrific entertainment value even in 2019. The acting? Outstanding. It’s a period piece that has not lost its charm or value through the years. Great script and excellent portrayal of story. Great work for Director Norman Taurog.

Storyline

Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn play on the Mississippi River.
