THE MUPPETS (Theatrical Release USA 2011)

Ben Meyers’ rating: 4.0|5.0 Starsìììì

The Muppets—exceptionally large puppet population—surprises due to the overwhelming presentation of unique puppets. Watch for Jim Parson's (Sheldon Cooper in The Big Bang Theory) cameo appearance and listen for his voice in the film for voicing at least one of the puppets. Jason Segal seems to be uncomfortable with his script lines and not as upbeat or happy as the other characters in the movie. Some song and  dance numbers seem a little out of place or a bit mistimed. Overall, The Muppets present a uniform story that concludes on a high note with relevancy to entertainment needs. Good work for all involved.
