THE ISLAND OF DR. MOREAU (Theatrical Release USA 1977)

Ben Meyers’ rating: 3.7|5.0 Starsììì

The Island of Dr. Moreau—odd, non-traditional story, with actors that seem to have a difficult time fitting to their characters—works on the edge of weird. While Burt Lancaster is an interesting actor to choose for this film, it is Michael York that comes off as the strongest actor. The movie does not particularly enthrall or entertain. It is average.

Maybe. More interesting science fiction films can be found than this one such as Planet of the Apes (1968).
