DREDD (Theatrical Release USA 2012)

 Ben Meyers’ rating: 3.5|5.0 Starsììì

Dredd
is much better than the first film, Judge Dredd, because of its increased uniformity and straightforwardness of story. However, this movie lacks the creativity of the first film. Karl Urban replaces Sylvester Stallone in this remake. Karl Urban plays his part well. The special effects are good as they should be for a futuristic movie.

? Yes? No? Maybe?

Maybe. There is no compromise in action or in the grime that accompanies most action films.
