LEATHERHEADS (Theatrical Release USA 2008)

 Ben Meyers’ rating: 3.9|5.0 Starsììì

Leatherheads—good watch for both sports movie fans and non-sports movie fans—nicely blends enough romance with a good sports story and a good journalism story to please a wider range of audience than most sports movies reach. George Clooney both directs and acts in the movie and does a good job in both roles. The movie title has been chosen well to date the film’s story. The football action is hard to beat. Renee Zelweger performs excellently as the romantic interest and as the journalist. The movie delivers a cute story with charm.
