Sister Act—great performance by Whoopi Goldberg—ranks among the better and more enjoyable film productions. The movie provides a well-balanced mixture of good musical entertainment, some intrigue, comedy, and a welcome conclusion.

Storyline 

A nightclub singer hides in a convent to get away from the mob.
