JUST GO WITH IT (Released to Theaters USA 2011)

Ben Meyers’ Rating: 3.6|5.0 Starsììì  Just Go With It—not the typical romance—has suggestive themes that dominate and prevail throughout the movie. CLICK (Theatrical Release USA 2006)

Ben Meyers’ rating: 3.9|5.0 Starsììì

Click—rated PG-13, but works more at the ‘R’ level due to sexual references—ends with a terrific moral of the story that typifies Adam Sandler movies. The moral of the story comes packaged without preaching and adequately hides itself for the audience to unveil and understand. The movie’s Director Frank Coraci does an outstanding job of moving the story along.

Buy a ticket? Yes? No? Maybe?

Maybe. It’s worth watching for the meaty moral of the story and works on a type of slapstick comedy level for the adult audience. Great work for Director Frank Coraci.

Reign Over Me—one of the best 2007 films—tells the story of a friend who helps a friend. This is a terrific drama story, well acted, and well cast. Completely worth a watch.

MURDER MYSTERY 2 (Video on Demand (VOD) Release World-Wide 2023)

Ben Meyers’ Rating: 3.8|5.0 Starsììì

Murder Mystery 2—suitable/okay—accesses the talents of Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston to produce a second Murder Mystery movie. This sequel film is not as fresh as the first Murder Mystery movie and has a conclusion that seems a bit cliched.

Storyline

Friends of the bridegroom get invited to an all-expense paid trip to a friend’s wedding only to find the bridegroom is on a hit list.

Additional Thanks

Thank you to Director Jeremy Garelick for directing effort. Thank you to Producers Adam Sandler, Allen Covert, Tripp Vinson, Jennifer Aniston, James Vanderbilt, and James D. Stern for making the film possible. Cast includes: Adam Sandler, Jennifer Aniston, Mark Strong, Melanie Laurent, Jodie Turner-Smith, and John Kant.

Buy a ticket? Yes? No? Maybe?

Maybe. The movie serves as a light afternoon watch or a background movie to run at a party. The costuming department outdid itself and the stage settings are very nice. The movie, itself though, does not run as a high-quality watch.

THE RIDICULOUS 6 (Television Release USA 2015)

Ben Meyers’ rating: 2.0|5.0 Stars ìì

The Ridiculous 6—a stupidly raunchy movie that degenerates the western film genre to below ridiculous. It seems many audiences may expect better from a Netflix Original film, from Adam Sandler, from Director Frank Coraci, and from everyone else connected with this film. It defines itself as a ‘not worth your time’ movie.

Storyline

In western times, a man goes looking for his family and finds more than he expected.

Additional Thanks

Poor work for Director Frank Coraci. Executive Producers Barry Bernardi, Pauline Fischer, Tim Herlihy, Heather Parry, and Nick Swardson made this film possible. Casting includes: Tommy (Adam Sandler), Smoking Fox (Julia Jones), Chico (Terry Crews), Herm (Jorge Garcia), Lil’ Pete (Taylor Lautner), Ramon (Rob Schneider), Danny (Luke Wilson), and Frank (Nick Nolte).

Buy a ticket? Yes? No? Maybe?

No. Low quality fare that works on the boring side as an adult watch.
