THE BOAT BUILDER (Released to the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival, Fort Lauderdale, Florida USA 2017)

Ben Meyers’ Rating: 3.9|5.0 Starsììì

The Boat Builder—simple movie with impact—has a sense of likeableness due to its slower pacing. It's a pleasure to see Christopher Lloyd on screen offset with a very personable Tekola Cornetet, who plays the foster child, Rick. It ends well and the presentation is suitable/good.

MY FAVORITE MARTIAN (Released to Theaters USA 1999)

Ben Meyers’ Rating: 4.0|5.0 Starsìììì

My Favorite Martian—likable—takes the current 'aliens are among us' frenzy down many notches to the suitable entertainment watch for the whole family. Jeff Daniels and Christopher Lloyd make a great team to interpret the story. Surprises lace the movie and are still fresh today. The movie sets itself up for sequels at the end of the film.

ANGELS IN THE ENDZONE (Released to ABC USA 1997)

Ben Meyers’ Rating: 3.6|5.0 Starsììì

Angels in the Endzone—rehash of the first Angels movie—lacks the vibrancy and originality of the story built on baseball rather than football. Look for Christopher Lloyd as the Head Angel...he's good in this film. The rest of the cast seem uninvolved as if they are going through the motions without real involvement with the story.

Buy a ticket? Yes? No? Maybe?

Maybe. It is not a high-quality film, but is the second film in the series. It gets a little boring at times. And the characters are uninteresting at times. Hopefully, the third film will help this series end well.
