TRANSFORMERS: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN (Theatrical Release USA 2009)

Ben Meyers’ Rating: 4.2|5.0 Starsìììì

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen—Part 2 of the Transformers movie series—lacks impactful action. The WOW! factor disappears even with the concluding wrap-up in Egypt. Know that the film has sexual references and some sex scenes. but overall is a still a great watch for storyline.

GRIDIRON GANG (Theatrical Release USA 2006)

Ben Meyers’ rating: 3.7

Gridiron Gang,
good movie, bases itself on a true story. Juvenile Los Angeles detention camp boys have a large recursion rate. An idea that the discipline found in playing football can reduce that rate comes to fruition. The concepts of winning and losing fairly, belief in self, and trust in others become focal points of the movie. The storyline plays well until the football game training. It slows at this point until the team begins playing with other football teams. From that point forward, the movie develops an upswing that continues to its conclusion. This movie provides opportunity for good performances for Dwayne Johnson and Xzibit.

UNSTOPPABLE (Theatrical Release USA 2010)

Ben Meyers’ rating: 3.5|5.0 Starsììì
Unstoppable—s
ome good news and some bad news. The good news—action scenes are superb and characters are well done. The bad news—a few flat spots that revolve around the deaths of an engineer and injury of a main character. Overall? Thrilling, exciting with a few flat spots. It’s a ‘don’t-want-to-get-popcorn-until-the-movie-is-over’ flick.
