FIRST SHIFT (Released to Theaters Germany 2024)

Ben Meyers’ Rating: 3.6|5.0 Starsììì

First Shift—detective/police movie—has potential but fails to reach its full potential. Ordering of the scenes can be unconventional in places and the acting is low-grade. Despite it's 'okay' status, the audience is assured in the ending credits that part two is on its way.

Maybe. The movie has need of much improvement to be a quality watch. It has potential as a cult classic after it ages.

IN THE NAME OF THE KING 2: TWO WORLDS (Released to Blu-Ray/DVD USA 2011)

Ben Meyers’ Rating: 3.5|5.0 Stars

In the Name of the King 2: Two Worlds—long way to go to be a quality or suitable watch—has little relative status to the original movie: In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale. This film ends bluntly but has a cliff hanger for the entrance of part 3. The movie seems to be produced like a television film.

IN THE NAME OF THE KING: A DUNGEON SIEGE TALE (Released to Theaters Canada 2007)

Ben Meyers’ Rating: 3.6|5.0 Starsììì

In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale—odd casting mix—redundantly shows one sword fighting scene after another rather than building a solid and interesting basic story that is novel and unique. This results in a slow movie. The acting is suitable to okay. The costuming department overly performs and produces soldiers who are supposed to look frightening and just can't quite get there.

Maybe. 'Diehard' Statham fans will see many high action scenes, but this film is redundant and slow.
