The Cat in the Hat
manages to perfectly capture the Dr. Seuss voice and the playfulness of his worldview. Casting works perfectly in this film. Stage settings and makeup/costuming departments completely capture the spirit of the original children’s book. Outstanding direction by Director Bo Welch. Great timing and perfect orchestration of every scene. The movie is a perfect choice for a child/adult share. It manages to engage both age groups without a single dull scene.
