The Manhattan Project—an interesting film—features John
Lithgow as one of the actors. The story’s line seems a little improbable, but
it’s a clean story.
Storyline
Paul Stephens
(Christopher Collet) and his girlfriend, Jenny Anderman (Cynthia Nixon), work
up a plan to take plutonium from a secret lab, make a bomb, and show it at the
New York Science Fair. Dr. John Matthewson (John Lithgow) finds the missing plutonium
and knows Paul has to be the thief because he had access to the laboratory.

Maybe. It’s a pleasure to see John
Lithgow in film before he was in Harry
and the Hendersons.
