The Water Horse: Legend of the Deep backs itself with World War II Scottish events while weaving in some tasteful romance and some drama that allows a young boy to come to grips with the loss of his father. The movie inspires and reminds its audience of the importance of staying young.

Storyline 

Young Angus MacMorrow (Alex Etel) finds an egg that hatches into a creature which a handyman identifies as a water horse. The two develop a friendship and help each other find their separate destinies.
