THE GREEN HORNET (Theatrical Release USA 2011)

Ben Meyers’ rating: 3.8|5.0 Starsììì

The Green Hornet needs better presentation. Seth Rogen does not seem to catch The Green Hornet’s personality well as if cast out of character. The film seems a bit rash and too bombastic as compared to the television series.

The Green Hornet and Cato fight crime.

Additional Thanks

Thank you to Director Michel Gondry for directing effort. Thank you to Executive Producers Evan Goldberg, Michael Grillo, Ori Marmur, Seth Rogen, and George W. Tendle, Jr. for making the film possible. Additional characters/cast include: Britt Reid/The Green Hornet (Seth Rogen), Kato (Jay Chou), Lenore Case (Cameron Diaz), James Reid (Tom Wilkinson), Chudnofsky (Christopher Waltz), Scanlon (David Harbour), Axford (Edward James Olmos), Popeye (Jamie Harris), Chili (Chad L. Coleman), Tupper (Edward Furlong), and Daily Sentinel Reporter (Jill Remez).

Buy a ticket? Yes? No? Maybe?

Maybe. The television series, even though it shows its age, is more entertaining than this movie.
