MANCHESTER BY THE SEA (Theatrical Release USA 2016)

Manchester by the Sea
examines what happens when persons suffer from a bad life experience and allow that experience to drive the rest of their life to the point where the heart does not open to embrace another person’s pain and try to heal it. The film’s modernity and coldness seem depressingly smothering and the audience is left with no forward movement in the end.
