HELLBOY (Theatrical Release USA 2004)

Ben Meyers’ rating: 4.0|5.0 Starsìììì

Hellboy—you’ll either love it or hate it. But, either way, its heart, comedy, and unique story line unmistakably place it in its own class. Ron Pearlman acts as Hellboy.

Storyline

During World War II, Sergeant Whitman (Angus MacInnes) leads a team of soldiers and a young Doctor Broom (Kevin Trainor) to an old ruin to spy on Germans. He finds the Germans opening an otherworldly portal. After a battle, Sergeant Whitman searches the grounds for any life that may have seeped into the earthly realm and finds Hellboy, as an infant, in the ruins.
