The Water Horse: Legend of the Deep—is a good story. It backs itself
with Scotland's World War II events, weaves in some tastefully competitive romance, and allows a young boy to come to grips with
the loss of his father. The story is well done and worth watching. It inspires
the imagination and reminds us that it is important to stay young by asking, ‘what
if?’
Storyline
Young Angus MacMorrow
(Alex Etel) finds an egg that hatches into a creature which a handyman
identifies as a water horse. The two develop a friendship and help each other
find their separate destinies.
