Prehysteria! offers nothing new except the Jimmy Henson-type dinosaurs. Everything works at the average level. Children may enjoy this during lunch break or as a background film for a birthday party.

Storyline

A museum curator brings five eggs home and the eggs find their way into the hands of two children.

Maybe. The movie does not require total involvement to follow its storyline. The dinosaurs seem more like pets so that the film becomes a non-threatening children’s entertainment piece.
