ADDAMS FAMILY VALUES (Theatrical Release USA 1993)

Ben Meyers’ rating: 4.3|5.0 Starsìììì

Addams Family Values
—interesting, creative, playful, and witty—adds a nice twist to the Addams Family stories with the addition of a new baby and Fester’s desire for romance as a second story running parallel to the first story. It’s good to see Joan Cusack in this movie with a beautiful rendition of the character Debbie Jellinsky. Summer camp scenes for the older children are well done and provide good comedy. Good to see reprised roles by some actors/actresses and because the movie upholds the original integrity and intent of the Addams Family stories, the movie will be enjoyed by all fans of the television series. No disappointment here. Faithful adherence to original entertainment.
