Shazam! Fury of the Gods wants to be as good as its prequel and doesn’t make the grade. It lacks the life vibrancy of its prequel. Despite this, if one is following the Shazam! story, this is the next step in the story.

Yes. This is the sequel to the first Shazam! movie but lacks the entertainment value of the first Shazam!
