DRAFT VERSION
Paris, France houses the Louvre Pyramid, a structure built because the age of the original Louvre Museum could not handle the daily traffic. The new entrance directs traffic in a manner designed to mitigate traffic flow backups as well as to decrease the stress on the older floor structures of the original building.

Broadening and Expanding Focus, Those Marvelous Inventors and Experimenters
by Ben Meyers
From collegiate film studies I integrated an understanding that the beginning of the European film industry has been deeply driven by France and French artists such as Georges Mèliés, the producer, director, writer, and publicist of Le Voyage Dans La Lune (1902) and his earlier works, Cinderella (1899) and Joan of Arc (1900) as well as the Lumiere Brothers and their invention of the Cinematographe moving picture machine.

The Lumiere Brothers' French Invention
When I found German inventors were deeply involved in the moving picture industry simultaneously with the French, that discovery led to a bit of confusion. German inventors were prone to invent and keep their ideas more within German borders while the Lumiere Brothers' traveled and began spreading this new technology across the world allowing simultaneous release of knowledge to both rich and poor alike. I found myself back in France again just where my collegiate coursework had placed me in the beginning of my studies. So, we will focus on France for this draft issue of Ben Meyers International Entertainment Magazine.
How French Stars Were Born
French Stars, Then and Now
As movies began to work with stories that involved people, audiences began requesting certain actors and actresses to perform more than others and as studios began honoring those requests, the birth of movie stars began. Some of the first to rise in France during the silent and black and white eras were:
From top to bottom:
Georges Biscot, Renee Adoree, Charles Roquefort
Top to Bottom: Jean Reno, Marcel Marceau, Catherine de Nueve, Jean Paul Belmondo, Gerard Depardieu
Today, due in part to innovations in mobility and increased integration of talent within the industry, France offers the world actors and actresses who have gained international recognition.
