Ben Meyers’ Summary Rating 3.8|5.0 Starsììì
Ben Meyers Summary of Halo: Television Series, Season 2: This season has its ups and downs (more downs than ups). But if one stays with it, Season 2 will reward viewers with an improved watch in Episode 7 and 8 and leave with a good cliffhanger for a new season. In the meantime, Netflix got the rights to the Halo series which seems to indicate new life for Halo. Hardcore game fans will appreciate Season 2.

Maybe. For the hardcore game fan, this is going to be a suitable watch. The season is 'rocky' in storyline, presentation, and portrayal, but makes a good bid for Season 3 in the last two episodes.

Ben Meyers
Episode 1: Sanctuary
Ben Meyers’ Rating: 3.7|5.0 Starsììì
Sanctuaryrelates strongly to Episode 9 of Season 1 but without the better portrayal. It runs the wave between poor and realistic.
Storyline
Cortana is removed from Master Chief. Later he and his team are sent to save some persons from the covenant but meet resistance. Soren meets a servant who seems to know where Doctor Halsey is located.

ticket? Yes? No? Maybe?
Maybe. One will have to watch this episode to get
the season on the roll.
Episode 2: Sword
Ben Meyers’ Rating: 3.7|5.0 Starsììì
Sword—Episode 2 of Season 2 introduces more questions than answers—uses a technique that leads the viewer on and on.
Storyline
Halsey is held captive in a room. Master Chief is training his team. Soren's wife is trying to put the pieces together of why Soren's crew left him.
Buy a
ticket? Yes? No? Maybe?
Maybe. It does have a better storyline than Episode 1.
Episode 3: Visegrad
Ben Meyers’ Rating: 3.7|5.0 Starsììì
Visegrad—if one wants to get out of Season 2, this is the episode to do it. The story is turning into a melodrama with little action. Worse yet, some of characters are hard to remember by face and name. There are some
suggestive themes. At this point, the story seems to be falling apart at its seams.
Storyline
The Master Chiefknows something is not rightly ordered but no one is listening.
Buy a ticket? Yes? No? Maybe?
Maybe. It is an okay episode, but not outstanding.
Episode 4: Reach
Ben Meyers’ Rating: 3.7|5.0 Starsììì
Reach— This episode is about the same as the last
3 episodes. This series, despite it being low grade, can be fun at times to watch. The
writing is more cohesive and to the point here. There is more action in this episode. This episode tries to give more focus and clarity to the story. That focus should have been established earlier than this.
Storyline
The Covenant enacts their plan for invasion.
Buy a
ticket? Yes? No? Maybe?
Maybe. If one made it
this far, this is the best episode due to the action scenes.
Episode 5: Aleria
Ben Meyers’ Rating: 3.8|5.0 Starsììì
Aleria— an improvement over the last four episodes—has better portrayal and presentation. The acting is about the
same and may be improved in some places.
Storyline
John loses focus and concentrates on revenge
rather than finding Halo.
Buy a
ticket? Yes? No? Maybe?
Yes. This episode is noticeably better in almost every way.
Episode 6: Onyx
Ben Meyers’ Rating: 3.8|5.0 Starsììì
Onyx—coming into the conclusion of the season.
Storyline
Cortana attempts to lead John to the keystone.
Buy a
ticket? Yes? No? Maybe?
Yes. The episode works at the suitable level.
Episode 7: Thermopylae
Ben Meyers’ Rating: 3.9|5.0 Starsììì
Thermopylae—the best episode so far—made the 3.9 rating.
Storyline
A plan to destroy a star system is revealed.
Buy a
ticket? Yes? No? Maybe?
Yes. Compared to the previous episodes, this one is like finding gold. But quality is still lacking.
Episode 8: Halo
Ben Meyers’ Rating: 3.9|5.0 Starsììì
Halo—This season
has been a 'real trip' of uncertainty of where
the story is going and if it is worth finishing.
Storyline
Biological spores are released that make zombies.
Buy a
ticket? Yes? No? Maybe?
Yes. WOW! This stands as the best and final episode. Episode 8 made it to the quality of Season 1. For hardcore Halo fans who stuck with Season 2, this episode rewards.
