David has his own life ‘going on’ with his pregnant girlfriend, Emma (Cobie Smulders), and difficulties with debt to gangsters. ONWARD (Theatrical Release USA 2020)

Onward—good concept—has just the right amount of action with great animation and colorization.  The movie nicely presents the concept of older sibling endeavoring to take care of younger siblings in spite of not doing the ‘perfect’ job. It has its sentimental moments, suitably portrayed. The movie needs enhancement of soul.

Two brothers wish to spend a day with their deceased father. So, they try to bring him back with magic.

JURASSIC WORLD: DOMINION (Theatrical Release USA 2022)

Jurassic World Dominion combines the cast from Jurassic Park with the cast of Jurassic World. This makes a noticeable splash onscreen that can be appreciated most by audiences who have followed both the Jurassic Park and Jurassic World series. The film almost categorizes itself as a run-of-the-mill dinosaur movie, but it is watchable and, for fans of the series, will provide a good walk down memory lane.

Ben Meyers’ Rating: 4.2|5.0 Starsìììì  Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom—not as good as the first Jurassic World—accesses the talents of Bryce Dallas Howard and Chris Pratt. Watch for Jeff Goldblum from Jurassic Park and Lost World: Jurassic Park. This movie is what it is. Watchable, but not outstanding. Jurassic World begins a series of standalone movies that reference the Jurassic Park films’ theme...think Disney Land versus Disney World. This film is not as good as the first two Jurassic Park films, but better than the third Jurassic Park film. This movie stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard along with young actors Nick Robinson and Ty Simkins. Watch for guest star Vincent D’Ornofrio. The acting, story, and portrayal are sound. The sequel is: Jurassic World: The Fallen Kingdom. Great work for all involved in the production of Jurassic World.

GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2 (Theatrical Release USA 2017)

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. II—inspired fun—writes its story with terrific creativity and becomes one of the best film releases of 2017.  The movie’s borders are boundless and could easily, due to the heavily defined characterizations, become a long running television series on par with Star Wars. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. II serves up 137 minutes of great entertainment for the Teen/Adult audience.

Peter Quill’s (Chris Pratt) father, Ego (Kurt Russell), reveals himself and Peter discovers the cause of his mother’s death.

Introductory scenes are particularly outstanding with special effects, costuming, make-up artistry, background scenery, and casting consistently presenting fresh visuals that harmonize quite pleasingly.
