Ben Meyers’ Rating: 4.0|5.0 Starsìììì  Twisters completely improves over the 1996 Twister movie. It does not work on the cult classic level like that film. They fail and she goes to work behind a weather center desk for several years.  An old friend contacts her and believes new technology can be used to minimize tornado activity. Cast includes Daisy Edgar-Jones, Glen Powell, Anthony Ramos, Brandon Perea, Maura Tierney, and Sasha Lane.   Buy that ticket? Yes? No? Maybe? Yes. Do not pass it over due to the challenges of the first Twister movie. This movie much improves over that movie and works from a realistic formatting that works very well. TOP GUN: MAVERICK (Theatrical Release USA 2022)

Top Gun: Maverick—WOW!—has terrific action, storyline, and dialogue lines. The story has come to its maturity and presents onscreen at a much higher level than the original Top Gun movie. Tom Cruise takes this film to the next level in entertainment value with his terrific supporting cast. It easily becomes one of the better military films marketed and easily establishes itself as a prime candidate for addition to the home video library. It has entertainment value written all over it.

Storyline 

This war film is about precision air fighters who must remove a set of targets perceived as dangerous to world safety.

Yes. This movie defines great storytelling and improves vastly on the first Top Gun movie. It shows maturity, values courage and loyalty, and the importance of rehearsal and training. Wonderful work for all involved in production. Incredibly well-written piece of entertainment.

HIDDEN FIGURES (Theatrical Release USA 2016)

Hidden Figures—inspiring storyline—is fresh, original, and creative. This ‘do not miss’ movie provides good, educational history for all audiences and terrific after viewing discussion material for every audience. It’s clean, honest, and based on a true story. Watch for terrific performances by Kevin Costner, Octavia Spencer, Taraji P. Henson, and Janelle Monae. The movie qualifies as an outstanding video to add to the family home video library.

This biographical drama film is about black women who were essential to the space age program.
