IN HARM'S WAY (Released to Theaters USA 1965)

 

Ben Meyers’ Rating: 4.0|5.0 Starsìììì  In Harm's Way—good film—tells several stories at once. By using that technique, it increases watching interest. It's good to see Kirk Douglas play with John Wayne again (The War Wagon). Watch for Stanley Holloway (My Fair Lady). It relies on an all star cast with some cameo appearances.  The film has suggestive themes.  Film Poster Courtesy of Google Images Storyline The US Navy is hit by the Japanese during the attack on Pearl Harbor. BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY’S (Theatrical Release USA 1961)

Breakfast at Tiffany’s casts George Peppard with Audrey Hepburn to tell a classic story of someone who wants very much to be something other than what she is. The 1961 storyline seems a bit shocking for the times when compared against the previous decade’s Leave It to Beaver world, but is told in a manner that requires little parental guidance. Audrey Hepburn’s natural onscreen panache elevates the story to a higher level than it would have achieved with the choice of another actress.

Holly Golightly (Audrey Hepburn) pursues wealth through any means possible while attempting to completely leave her country background behind her.
