AUGUST RUSH (Theatrical Release USA 2007)

Ben Meyers’ rating: 4.3|5.0 Starsìììì

August Rush—
memorable, almost ethereal—takes a very good story and places it into a solid gold frame. A class act that easily reaches encore and double kudo status, this film uses the abundant talents of Freddie Highmore, Robin Williams, Kerri Russell, and Jonathan Rhys Meyers to define itself. Watch for a particularly good performance by Terrence Howard as the social worker, Richard Jefferies. Excellent watch for the whole family. There is some language and one mild love scene.
