THE SONS OF KATIE ELDER (Theatrical Release USA 1965)

Ben Meyers’ rating: 4.0|5.0 Starsìììì

The Sons of Katie Elder
—classic western, John Wayne-style—is pretty well done. It’s not the best in the rank of high-end westerns, but it serves above the usual B-grade western flick. Good work for Director Henry Hathaway in working with this casting group. He caught and pulled the character out of the four boys well.
