Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events—original, fresh, and entertaining—accesses a WOW performance by Jim Carrey as the movie's villain. The casting department performs outstandingly for this magical story in choosing Liam Aiken, Shelby Hoffman, Emily Browning, Kara Hoffman, Meryl Streep, and Timothy Spall. Along with superlative stage sets, the movie beguiles from its beginning. Director Brad Silberling caught the story’s magical sequencing with great understanding. This beautiful film deserves its place in the family home video library. It has strong re-watchable status.

Storyline

Three orphaned children make the rounds through a variety of relatives looking for a loving, sane home.
