OCTOPUS (DVD Release USA 2000)

 Ben Meyers’ rating: 3.7|5.0 Starsììì

Octopus starts with a promise of being a good thriller about an octopus due to the poster and title that support that supposition. Then, the movie begins as a spy movie. This creates confusion. When one settles in to watch a spy movie, the octopus is introduced. This seems more like a sidetrack from what the film was setting up to be despite the initial prep for the octopus to appear. It takes too long to get to the octopus and derails its audience.

Storyline

An unidentified creature attacks a submarine.
