Dolly Parton: Here I Am—documentary—improves as it goes along. ‘Pick up the phone and don’t hang up’ is the best
advice for interacting with this story. The movie allows a type of innocent
look into the life of an entertainer. The work effort, perseverance,
multi-faceted talent and many approaches required to keep viable and the simple
life-style while on the road performing at large and small venues are covered
very well. WOW! Educational and personable—Dolly manages to put together a wonderful
testimony to the importance of living the life one is meant to live.
