CODE OF THE CACTUS (Released to Theaters in the USA 1939)

Ben Meyers’ Rating: 3.9|5.0 Starsììì

Code of the Cactus—short, simple, western film—does not have a large storyline but still manages to entertain. The writing, presentation, and portrayal run at the suitable to okay watch. The actors are largely unknown to modern audiences.

? Yes? No? Maybe?

Yes. A film that can run in the background for a party or to serve as a simple watch that does not require deep involvement or mind energy expenditure…a good, light afternoon watch.
