Spirit Untamed—simple, suitable film for the younger set—gets to be a ho-hum animated film from its early scenes. The computer animation is poor. Overall, it does not have the quality, complex writing necessary to pull a good child/adult share.

Maybe. The movie may make a good watch for younger girls who love horses, but it runs more on the boring side of storytelling.
