It has an all-star voice cast, good presentation and portrayal. This is an adult-only film. Interesting watch that runs British slow but entertains on the intellectual level. Know this movie has been designed for a sophisticated, mature adult audience. X2: X-MEN UNITED (Theatrical Release USA 2003)

 Ben Meyers’ Rating: 4.0|5.0 Starsìììì 

X2: X-Men United—elaborates on the X-Men story—reprises the roles of Hugh Jackman, James Marsden, Famke Janssen, Halle Berry, Patrick Stewart, and Ian McKellen. It adds Brian Cox and Alan Cumming. The  presentation needs more crafting but the movie is an enjoyable watch and quite entertaining…a good afternoon watch.

This superhero film is about a machine that is developed to wipe out all Earth’s mutants.

Yes. This movie is not as good as the first movie in the series, but it still earns a recommendation as watchable and entertaining.

Buddy—terrific, rich, and fully complete stage settings—presents an unusual story based partially on truth. The movie may not be for everyone. But, its solidly built foundation, good writing and exceptional acting, make it worth a watch. It’s good to see Robbie Coltrane in one of his earlier films along with Alan Cummings and Rene Russo.
