THE SPONGEBOB MOVIE: SPONGE ON THE RUN (Released to Theaters Canada 2020)

The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run—odd story, not as good as the first filmworks more for children than adults. The actors are well chosen: Keanu Reeves, Danny Trejo, and Snoop Dogg.

Storyline

Plankton kidnaps Gary the Snail and gives him to King Poseidon. Plankton wishes to remove SpongeBob from the Krusty Crab so that Plankton can get the Krabby Patty Secret Formula.

Maybe. It's an okay watch that children will like better than adults.

THE SPONGEBOB MOVIE: SPONGE OUT OF WATER (Released to Theaters USA 2015)

The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water—starts well but loses steam after that—runs slow. Children will like it; adults will find it less interesting than the first movie.

Storyline

SpongeBob is trying to pry the Krabby Patty secret formula from Plankton hands and it vanishes.

Maybe. It is not as good as the first film and is not a sequel to the first film. It is a new story that stands alone.
