The Tuskegee Airmen details African American military service during WWII. The Tuskegee Airmen film performs at a similar level as the 2012 film, Red Tails. The movie serves as a great story that educates without preaching. Bravo for a very good military story directed by Robert Markowitz.

Storyline

World War II births the 332 Fighter Group, an all-black fighting group serving the United States Army Air Corp.

Ben Meyers’ Rating: 4.4|5.0 Starsìììì  Cabrini—high quality watch— belongs in the home video library. Exceptionally upbuilding for the soul and spirit. It leaves its audience inspired. It starts better than the rest of the film but does not miss a beat throughout its presentation. Wonderful story for the family watch. THE ACCOUNTANT (Released to Theaters USA 2016)

 

Ben Meyers’ Rating: 3.8|5.0 Starsììì The Accountant is a film that has multiple plot holes. If the viewer doesn't think too deeply about the storyline, especially about the relationship between the two brothers and John Lithgow's character, and watches it superficially, then it is a fun watch. Read a Wikipedia plotline before watching to keep the brothers' roles defined and how they develop from childhood to working adults and become involved in criminal activity. THE HOMESMAN (Released to Theaters USA 2014)

The Homesman—Tommy Lee Jones and Hilary Swank—has a different western story to tell as it focuses on female lives and their ways of coping (or not coping) with the tough life on the frontier. The cast shows outstanding skill in depicting the story. Content contains  explicit sex scenes; nudity; and frank, adult dialogue. The story needs to be told.

Storyline

Ms. Cuddy agrees to transport three men's wives to a Christian asylum to rehabilitate them to sanity, if possible.

RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES (Theatrical Release USA 2011)

Rise of the Planet of the Apes—stands the test of time—works due to some terrific rewriting of the script. WOW! This movie plays with the third and fourth films of the original series and combines them into a more plausible story than the original series did. The upgrade completely works because it plays with current time for a launch into future events. Watch for terrific computer generated, realistic apes. The movie deserves its watch.

This science fiction film is about: An intelligent ape who leads a group of apes into a rebellion against humans.

Yes. What a concept! The movie completely satisfies Planet of the Ape movie fans. Watch for John Lithgow, James Franco, David Oyelowo as well as listening for the voicing of Andy Serkis for the character Caesar. One of the best remakes on par with the original series. Wow! Good job on turning the story inside/out.
