CLOVERFIELD (Theatrical Release USA 2008)

Ben Meyers’ rating: 3.6|5.0 Starsììì

Cloverfield
—creative and the best in the series—has a straight forward story supported by a relatively unknown cast. The acting is average to good. The action and special effects are good. The story presents itself as found footage or footage taken from a personal camcorder which lends an eerily realistic feel to the storyline.

Buy a ticket? Yes? No? Maybe?

Yes. Know that this sci fi movie expands to two sequels. This is the best in the series and it goes downhill from this movie.
